He's just a pedigree, he's got a blaster,
he's faster than all his enemies,
this level's hard,
let's move past it without the penalties,
shoot up the place,
he's coming through with high tech weaponry,
he's the baddest, goodest boy,
he'll jump over your head,
be good or play dead,
he'll be back if they touch him,
teleport to the end,
this mall is so fun,
is this robot your friend?
good thing that you got a gun,
or we might be in a mess,
so many beasties in this place,
won't be a problem tho,
he's just a dog,
he's got these shards,
he hit the lotto, bro,
oh he's my saviour,
tell these monsters we gon' see them later,
he's here to save us, yeah,
he's bad but he's the goodest, yeah he's...
MAXWELL, coming through with his blaster - he's cool,
having so much fun killing these monsters in this mall
Oh he's my saviour, tell these monsters we gon' see them later,
he's here to save us, yeah, he's bad but he's the goodest,
cos he's...
MAXWELL, coming through with his blaster - he's cool,
having so much fun killing these monsters in this mall
yeah he's MAXWELL, coming through with his blaster - he's cool, having so much fun killing these monsters in this mall.
Thanks Maxwell, finally about time someone cleaned this place up.

A really wonderful soundtrack, backed by some newer faces who carry their weight in spades. The number of tracks I could swear were David Wise, only to be Matt Griffin, was surprising. I hope Griffin and Murdoch go on to compose more like this in the future. It's hard to choose favorites, but Turbine Trouble - Tidal and Cliffside Quest - Cold are masterclasses in melodic beauty.
Jordan Vauvert
The soundtrack to indie game “Cottage Quest” is a marvel of pointillist synths and chiptune influence—charming and catchy all at once. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 6, 2023
